Cedar Point Park Hike

On Sunday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m., Landfall resident Peter Coy led a hike for LPOA members through Cedar Point County Park and beyond. The event marked the third annual excursion organized in cooperation with the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society, where Peter serves as a board member.

Participants met on Landfall Circle at the entrance to the woods near the top of the circle, adjacent to the home of Eduardo Varela and Stephen Mellert. The group entered Cedar Point County Park and followed the Northwest Trail. The hike continued south across the park road and past Alewife Pond, with participants choosing their route based on the group's preferences. Some explored the Grace Estate via Alewife Brook Road, while others continued toward Northwest Harbor using a combination of trails and roads before returning. The total distance covered was approximately three miles.

Members enjoyed a beautiful morning outdoors, taking in the natural beauty of the area while reconnecting with neighbors and fellow hikers.
