On Saturday, June 22nd, our community gathered with over 45 Landfall Members for our Annual Meeting at the home of Board member Eduardo Varela.

The agenda covered the following topics:

• Welcome and introduction of new Landfall residents, and motion to waive the reading of last year’s minutes

• Update on Social Events provided by Rita Gallagher

• Review of the Landfall Financials with commentary by Katie Dunn

• Progress on the Beach Stairs reconstruction project led by Eduardo Varela

• Election of new Board Members for the period 2024-2026

• Other business items raised by the Board and the community, followed by Q&A time

The newly elected Board of Directors for the period 2024-2026 includes the following residents, in alphabetical order:

• Eduardo Varela (re-elected)

• Katie Dunn (re-elected)

• Michael Grimstad (re-elected)

• Nick Elliot (re-elected)

• Rita Gallagher (re-elected)

• Robert Rosenberg (re-elected)

• Vera Silver (formerly Alternate Member, now elected as a Board Director)

The Landfall community extends its gratitude to former Board Director Alison Cauchi for her contributions during her tenure, including her recent role as Secretary of the Board. We are also seeking candidates for the position of Alternate Board Member. This individual participates in Board meetings without voting rights and stands ready to replace a Board member if needed. If you are interested and available to take on this role, please contact the Board by Saturday, July 6th.

After the business portion of the meeting, Members enjoyed a lively cocktail reception featuring passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Fortunately, we managed to wrap up just before a major rainstorm hit our area - you can witness the event in our video highlights below!
