Guided Springtime Hike

We are pleased to offer the third annual guided, Springtime hike for LPOA members and their guests!

Once again we are delighted that our LPOA member and experienced volunteer guide with the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society, Peter Coy, will lead us on this wonderful hike! This year we will hike directly from within Landfall out along the top of the bluffs taking in the spectacular view of beautiful Gardiner’s Bay from a great height before looping back through Cedar Point Park.

Event Details:

Date and Time: Saturday, May 3rd at 10am (Rain Date May 10th)

Location: 10 Landfall Circle

Parking: Street parking

Meeting Time/Place and the Course:

At 10am we will meet at Landfall Circle around #10 (the empty lot between # 8 and #12). We'll enter Cedar Point County Park there, connect to the yellow diamond trail, and take it north to the bluffs overlooking Gardiner's Bay. From there we’ll walk west along the bluffs, take the trail down to the beach, then circle around to the Camp Store. Lastly, we’ll walk along the Park road for a short distance and then cut back on a trail to our starting point. In all it’s a little less than three miles.

Please note:

-This hike is best experienced in good weather. Therefore, the rain date is scheduled for Saturday, May 10th at 10 AM. We will alert you to any changes via email.

-Bring water and dress for the elements including tick prevention (long pants, socks and spray).
