This LPOA Board initiative is about offering the membership a convenient way to declutter our homes of unwanted items, and to easily donate appropriate items to charity.
This year’s recipient of our donations is Hamptons Community Outreach. HCO’s mission is to lift people out of poverty by meeting their most basic and critical needs, and by creating opportunities that change the life trajectories for our marginalized neighbors. There will be dumpsters provided by Mickey’s Carting located at 12 Masthead Lane (Katie Dunn’s home) to receive your items for disposal. And for your donation items, please simply place them in the designated area inside Katie’s garage. Members of the Board have volunteered to ensure items are picked up by HOC and/or delivered there.
Please note these important considerations:
Items that are PROHIBITED for BOTH disposal and donations include: Paint, Chemicals, Car Tires and Any Toxic Materials.
Items for donation may be among the following (provided they are in good and usable condition): Clothing, Linens, Small Appliances, Toys, Clothing Accessories, Flatware, Glassware, Tools, Housewares, Shoes, Books, Home Decor, Electronics, Place Settings, Area Rugs, Records.
